With the Hyundai i30, the latest plug-in hybrid concept of the Korean auto-major, the company aims to displace the much celebrated Toyota Prius.

Riding high on its recent accolades as one among the best in customer satisfaction, Hyundai plans to meet their sales goal of 500,000 units much earlier with the upcoming i30. Allan Rushforth, Hyundai's European vice president reckons "The i30 could help us even more," adding "We might even be able to finish 2012 with those half million sales."

The i30 is scheduled to be showcased by the end of 2012 and the launch is scheduled by early 2013.
